Scripture Readings for April 8, 2025
Upcoming Scripture readings are usually updated not later than Sunday prior to the next Bible Study.
Readings: Genesis 49:13-28
Overview: Join Us as We Journey Through the Life of Joseph.
The story of Joseph, found in Genesis 37-50, is one of the most powerful accounts of God’s sovereignty, faithfulness, and redemption in all of Scripture. It is a story of betrayal and forgiveness, suffering and perseverance, humility and exaltation. But more than that, it is a story that points us to Christ, the greater Joseph, who was rejected, endured suffering, and was ultimately exalted to bring salvation to many.
As we walk through Joseph’s life together, we will explore how God’s hand was at work—even in the midst of trials—and how His promises never fail. We’ll see how Joseph’s faith sustained him through hardship and how his story speaks to our own struggles, reminding us that God is always working for our good and His glory.
